Welcome to Easton

A pastoral paradise in a convenient New England location.

Easton, Connecticut is one of Fairfield County’s smaller and more rural towns, home to more than twenty farms and acres of beautiful, undeveloped woodland. The town has a pastoral feel, offering residents a taste of country life that’s a short drive to shopping, restaurants, and major highways.

Homes in Easton can price into the millions—or close to it. Properties tend to be situated on more substantial acreage than other towns in Fairfield County, and New England Colonials and farmhouses are plentiful. Lots in the new Adirondack Estates development are currently available for luxury home construction.

What to Love

  • Beautiful countryside

  • Farms and orchards

  • Quaint downtown

People & Lifestyle

With no more than 8,000 residents, Easton is truly a small, peaceful New England town. There are plenty of farms of various sizes, and residents tend to focus on environmental conservation. It’s the perfect town for those who are tired of city life and are looking for a more relaxing place to call home!

Just an hour and a half north of New York City, Easton is a great place for commuters looking for a countryside home—professionals usually drive to the Fairfield station and take the train down. This also works well for families who want to enjoy city amenities while raising children in a more relaxed environment.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Due to Easton’s size and rural location, nightlife is harder to come by—people tend to move here for the scenic views and farm country rather than dining hotspots. Fortunately, larger towns like Fairfield, Norwalk, and Bridgeport are just minutes away, offering everything from beaches to shopping.

For those who prefer to stay in town, Easton offers some unique and enjoyable places to shop or grab a bite to eat. Easton Village Store is a remodeled country store for all of your food or grocery needs, while Silverman’s Farm is a local staple—a 50-acre farm with berry fields, pick-your-own orchards, and a petting zoo for kids.

Blue Bird Inn
is a popular weekend brunch spot, while Greiser’s Coffee & Market is located right in town—the perfect place to get a cup of coffee or shop for groceries.

Things to Do

Beautiful and rural Easton offers plenty of opportunities to get outside and enjoy nature. From festivals to lively farms and orchards, this town offers all the delights of small-town living.

There are plenty of events in Easton throughout the year, including the Easton Fireman’s Carnival, where people of all ages can enjoy rides, treats, and even a car raffle. Stop by Maple Row Tree Farm to find your family’s perfect Christmas tree, or shop for firewood and gardening supplies year-round!

Aspetuck Land Trust
walking trails span over a thousand acres of beautiful open space right in your backyard. Residents can choose to join the Connecticut Golf Club to enjoy the sport and meet new friends or visit the beautiful Trout Brook Valley State Park.
